Set up of visual infrastructure/info stands in the project site
The information stands will be targeted mainly to the general public visiting Tyruliai bog SPA. Therefore it will contain interesting and even surprising information about the bog, bird targeted species (Bittern*, Spotted Crake, Common Crane), and about the management measures applied in the site and will give introductory information about the project. The stands will be supported by plenty of visual information and will refer to more detailed information on the project website (E4). 5 large size (1000 x 1700 mm) information stands will comply with the requirements as foreseen in the Article 13 of the Common Provisions (Communication actions, publicity support and audiovisual products) and Life+ recommendations on designing of the notice boards. These information stands will be placed in the most visited areas of the project site: near by only roads for accessing the Natura 2000 site as well as at the observation towers.
Project will need additional infrastructure, such as observation towers for bird-watching with wide platform in order to ensure better visibility and attractive viewpoint to see managed area. Thus, the project will setup the infrastructure according to the specific needs of the site. This should increase atractivity of the managed area for visitors. Target group of the information boards and observation towers are visitors of Natura 2000 area, local community, fishermen, local authorities and general public.
